Laphonza Butler (CA) and Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks (MD) for a “Black Women Belong…in the Senate” panel discussion moderated by strategist and commentator Angela Rye during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference. The conversation will focus on the issues facing Black women, how Black women like Sen. Butler have led in the Senate, and how two Black women can potentially serve in the Senate together for the first time.
