“Four Year” Highlights Blunt Rochester’s Record of Strengthening Our Workforce
Wilmington, Del. — Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester released her new TV ad highlighting her record of strengthening career and technical education and creating alternative pathways to success throughout her career in public service. “Four Year” is part of a seven-figure ad buy and will air on broadcast and cable in the Philadelphia and Salisbury media markets.

“I am excited to announce the release of our first television ad of the cycle, ‘Four Year,’” Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester said. “It’s been my life’s work to create good, family-sustaining jobs in our community and expand opportunities so every American can succeed — whether or not they choose to go to a four-year university. Through investing in job training and apprenticeship programs, we can support the jobs of today and the workforce of tomorrow. In the Senate, we’ll build on our record of results and continue to deliver for Delaware.”
Transcript of “Four Year”:
We’re bringing Bright Hope to Delaware by creating opportunities.
As Secretary of Labor, I’ve worked on preparing the workforce of tomorrow.
And in Congress, I’ve worked to strengthen career and technical education.
Jobs that might not require a four year college degree but do require skills.
With jobs like these…
Together, we can build the workforce of today and tomorrow.
I’m Lisa Blunt Rochester, and I approve this message because our opportunities should be limitless.
The ad release comes on the heels of the Congresswoman’s comprehensive plan to grow the middle class. The plan — which included a focus on creating good jobs and investing in career and technical education — was released earlier this summer and was a wide-ranging look at strengthening our economy.
