Wilmington, Del. —  In case you missed it, today, Lisa Blunt Rochester joined President Joe Biden as he cast his early vote just days before Election Day. The two Delawareans have a longstanding relationship, with Blunt Rochester eventually serving as his national co-chair for his presidential campaign and on Biden’s vice presidential selection committee. 

On Sunday, Blunt Rochester’s campaign released a digital video of President Biden urging Delawareans to support “Lisa,” as he calls her, saying that she is “Delaware through and through” and that “there’s no one better to represent us in Washington D.C. and in the United States Senate than Lisa Blunt Rochester,” as exclusively reported by the Delaware News Journal.

Blunt Rochester expressed her gratitude to the president for his support, saying, “I’ve had the great fortune of knowing President Joe Biden for over three decades. His unwavering commitment to Delaware and our nation has created a lasting legacy, and I am beyond honored to have his support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mr. President.”

In the final stretch, the Blunt Rochester campaign will continue its robust outreach and GOTV efforts across the state — engaging with voters about the issues that matter most, highlighting her achievements in Congress, and what she hopes to accomplish in the Senate for the First State.
